Maybe it’s because the first blush Gremlins, Watcher in the Woods, Monster Squad, Something Wicked this Way Comes, Poltergeist, The Frighteners, The Burbs, People Under the Stairs were all movies my teen kiddos started off with. We also watch lots of Monster movies but they have lots of gore. Tucker and Dale vs Evil is my 16 year old's favorite movie.
